Job Title : Environmental Intern – SavePlanetEarth (SPE)

Our mission is to create a lasting, positive impact on the environment and contribute to a greener, healthier future for generations to come.

Job Description:

SPE is seeking enthusiastic and motivated interns to join our dynamic team. As an Environmental Intern, you will play a key role in supporting our various projects and initiatives, gaining hands-on experience in the field of environmental conservation and carbon sequestration.

Responsibilities:

Assist in the planning, coordination, and execution of tree-planting projects and other reforestation initiatives.
Conduct research on clean energy alternatives and contribute to the development of innovative solutions for reducing carbon emissions.
Support the implementation of carbon footprint reduction campaigns, including the creation of educational materials and outreach efforts.
Help maintain and update the SPE's blockchain platform, ensuring transparency and accuracy in carbon credit transactions.
Collaborate with other team members on various tasks and projects related to SPE's mission and objectives.
Attend meetings and workshops to expand your knowledge of environmental conservation, climate change, and carbon sequestration.
Assist with administrative tasks, as needed.

Qualifications:

Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a college or university, preferably in environmental science, environmental studies, or a related field.
Passionate about environmental conservation and climate change mitigation.
Strong research, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Excellent written and oral communication skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and comfortable with learning new software or platforms.
Familiarity with blockchain technology and carbon credit systems is a plus but not required.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
